I don't know if I've ever been to a theatre with a cry room, but they're a pretty good idea, I think. I'd suggest that theatres also build "asswipes with ringing cellphones and/or loud conversations rooms" but that would end up bigger than the auditorium proper.
You know, if you happen to have a cry room near you, it might be worth it to buy a stroller and doll baby, if you catch my drift. It was pretty nice, and soundproof, too.
